1. Our Child Safeguarding Principles
At Prathmic Pathshala, the physical, mental, and emotional safety of children is our paramount consideration. We design every feature—from interactive comics and chalkboard stages to read-aloud narrations—to shield young children from digital risks, predatory behaviors, and age-inappropriate exposure.
2. Educator & Staff Code of Conduct
All teachers, content creators, narrators, and moderators affiliated with Prathmic Pathshala must sign and adhere to our strict Safeguarding Code of Conduct:
- No Private Off-Platform Messaging: Educators are strictly forbidden from contacting students via personal WhatsApp, social media accounts, phone calls, or unmonitored communication channels.
- Audited Live Sessions: Any live sessions or interactive classrooms are recorded and subject to regular supervisory compliance audits.
- Positive Reinforcement: Staff must adhere to respectful pedagogy. Shaming, emotional abuse, or discriminatory language based on gender, caste, religion, or learning pace is cause for immediate termination and legal action.
3. Anti-Cyberbullying & Peer Protection
We cultivate empathy and kindness among young learners. Our platform enforces:
- Automated keyword filters blocking vulgarity, offensive Hindi/English slang, and hate speech.
- Prohibition of student-to-student private direct messaging.
- One-click reporting tool allowing parents to flag suspicious activity immediately.
4. Compliance with the POCSO Act, 2012
Prathmic Pathshala operates with zero tolerance regarding the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. Any instance of child sexual exploitation, abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or inappropriate solicitation will result in immediate lifetime account banning and direct mandatory reporting to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and law enforcement authorities.
